Social alchemy has many dimensions, from political and cultural elements to geographical and economical aspects, but all these are not an end in themselves even when combined. Aspects of these dimensions of perception, knowledge and motivation may binds certain societies together. This can be compared the the outer perception of alchemy as the processing of various physical elements such as salt, mercury, lead and sulfur or in other non western traditions air, earth, fire, water and perhaps wood. The elements within a compound as used in Social Alchemy can be numerous as other forms of alchemy. There is can also be a known or intentional, but unintentional connection between physical and social alchemy. The consequences of these relationship can be important on many levels.
